The nebula around the magnetar could explain the FRB.

Fast radio bursts (FRB) are one most powerful effects in the universe. Their source has been unknown. Until now when the Very Large Array (VLA) saw some weak radio impulses that can have a connection with the FRB. That thing connects the FRB with the molecular nebulas around the magnetars, neutron stars with extraordinarily powerful magnetic fields. The idea is that when the magnetar sends its pulse, that pulse hits to molecular cloud around the magnetar. 

When that molecular nebula takes the energy impulse it sends energy back to the magnetar. That energy impulse travels through the magnetar's magnetic field which increases its power. If that nebula is like a ring around the magnetar that explains why FRB is so hard to predict. The jet from the magnetar hits that nebula only when the magnetar rotates around its equatorial axle and if the ring nebula is at the magnetar's equator that jet travels through it only when the neutron star's poles aim the jet to that ring. 

The jet and the magnetic fields around neutron stars are not as simple as people normally think. The neutron star itself acts like a generator. But the plasma that travels over its shell also creates part of the neutron star's magnetic field. When energy reflects from the nebula, it affects the plasma that moves on the neutron star. That movement forms when anions (negative ions) and positive ions travel to opposite magnetic poles. The anion travels to N and the ion travels to S poles. 

If that jet from a neutron star's pole hits that ring too often. That causes energy impulse which destroys the structure. The idea is that the ring-shaped nebula sends energy back to the magnetar there it increases its magnetic field's power. When a neutron star's jet travels through the magnetic field the field increases its power. The magnetic field sends ions and anions to its poles.

During that process plasma that travels over the neutron star's or magnetar shell acts like a generator. The magnetic field around the neutron stars and magnetars forms in the interaction with the neutron star's inner structure, its shell, and the plasma around it. When energy impulse reflects plasma, that increases the magnetic field's power because plasma forms part of it. 

Knowledge about things like FRBs helps to create new, high-power maser systems that can transmit data through electromagnetic disturbance.
