The Russians released suspected killer satellites to the orbiter.

Three mysterious Russian satellites were released into the orbiter.  They are called. Kosmos  2581, 2582, and 2583. Those satellites may be killer satellites. Or some kind of targets for that killer satellite program. The Kosmos-2583 launched a mystery object to the orbiter. 

That object can be anything. There is the possibility that the Russian satellite trio made the maneuver and docking tests to create larger and longer structures for more powerful lasers. 

Then otherwise is possible. Those modular structures can be very long (>1km.). They can create so powerful laser beam that it can endanger structures on the ground. Those satellites can also aim their lasers at one point. 

That target that the Kosmos-2583 released can be a space mine, target practice, or even the FOBS, the Fractional orbital bombardment system. The spaceborne nuclear bombardment system. Since the 1960s. Russians and Soviets had killer satellite programs. 

The easiest way to make a satellite kill is to drive the satellite into the impact course against another satellite. This makes things like miniature satellites dangerous. 

The miniature satellite can recognize the target and then activate its booster. The controllers can also control that system from a ground station. When the optical seeker sees the target the operator can drive the miniature satellite to the target. The satellite can communicate with the ground station or command aircraft like the A-50 using laser or radio communication.  For optical communication, the system must raise the receiver transmitter over the cloud level. That means the ground station or its antenna must be in the high mountain areas.

Maybe those three satellites are neutron bombs. Whose purpose is to destroy enemy satellites. Or maybe, they are kinetic ammunition that should impact other satellites. Or target pieces. For testing some more advanced space weapons. 

In the year 2022, Russia also launched the mysterious Kosmos satellite into the orbiter. That satellite is suspected as a killer satellite. That killer satellite uses directed energy weapons, DEW, like lasers to kill other satellites. Those satellites are sad evidence that the war goes to the orbiter. 

Satellites are very powerful tools for military missions. They are this way vital targets for enemy systems. The satellite can surveillance enemy movements and offer target data to bombs. Communication, optical and radar recon satellites, and GPS satellites are tools. 

That plays a vital role in the modern military. That's why those satellites are good targets for the killer satellites that can decrease those systems' accuracy. The killer satellites are a threat to the vital military systems. So they will get counter systems quite soon. And that means the arms race goes to space. 

The new space-based solar power (SBSP, SSP) is a system that can deliver energy from space using solar-power lasers. Those energy satellites can also aim their lasers at another satellite. The high-power laser or microwave burst can destroy the target very effectively. The system is double-used. In peacetime, those systems can deliver energy to Earth. But in war, those systems can destroy enemy satellites. 

The fact is that the satellites are so important systems that they need protection against the low-level. Anti-satellite, ASAT systems. The high-power laser rays can also cause damage and destroy infrastructure from the orbiter.

Space X launches first orbital laser satellites.

 Space X launches first orbital laser satellites. 


The purpose of V2 minisatellites is to offer 5G communication between satellites. This type of satellite can make many other things than offer just 5G communication between ISS (International Space Station) and satellites. There is the possibility that those laser satellites also can make observations about gravitational waves. And that thing makes those minisatellites interesting. The power that the laser uses determines its purpose. 

So communication satellites or some scientific satellites can turn into extremely powerful reconnaissance satellites. Those satellites can use their lasers as laser microphones. Or the same satellites can be killer satellites if those systems have no limits. The fact is that the same system that can adjust its laser's power can act as a civil satellite. 

The killer satellites might use solar power. And they can work as regular communication satellites until they get commands. Those hybrid satellites might use their lasers as communication tools. But when they face some kind of threat, those satellites increase their laser's power.

The moon can be an ideal place for radio and optical telescopes. 

The moonquakes can cause problems with optical telescopes. But the other side of the moon can protect the telescopes from the light and other electromagnetic radiation wich source is on Earth. The radio telescope. Or researchers send mock-ups to the Moon quite soon. 

The position of those systems would be the far side of the moon. The moon protects those radio telescopes against electromagnetic radiation, whose source is on Earth.  Radio telescopes don't require a stable base. The communication between those telescopes that are on the far side of the moon can happen by using an antenna that is on the Earth side of the moon and information travels between that antenna and radio telescopes by using optical fibers. 

In that project, the robot wagon can pull optical fiber and electricity between telescopes and solar panels that are on the Earth's side. The system requires two solar panel groups on both sides of the Moon. That makes it possible to deliver electricity to those telescopes all the time. If the control gives commands by using an antenna that is on the other side of the moon, and the information travels in cables that will not disturb those observation tools.

Putin threats Western commercial satellites. And western actors must be prepared for that kind of threat.

Putin says that Russia will attack Western commercial satellites. If they are used to support Ukraine. That means that the satellites must equip, with counter-action systems that can destroy incoming missiles. Also, operators must increase satellite survivability against laser rays and other electromagnetic weapons by making them stealthy. 

That technology makes satellites hard to detect. And also, the transmitters that the satellite uses can be at long distances from its main body. Active protection systems like counter-weapons are problematic but effective. Those systems shots ammunition against incoming ASAT weapons but satellites can also use against other satellites. That will increase the speed of space militarization and the weapons race. 

Miniature satellites can be the future of satellite technology. And miniature satellites can also be used as ASAT weapons. Those satellites can just collide with other satellites. Or they can have things like rocket arrows that destroy other satellites. 

Miniaturization is where one large satellite is replaced by using a swarm of multiple miniature satellites. The ability to connect many miniature satellites to one entirety with wireless application like communication lasers are called virtual molarization. 

The number of parts of that kind of system has no limit. So the entire Earth can be covered by using a large group of small telescope satellites. That system makes it possible to surveillance at the same time the entire Earth. 

And when there is a need for higher accuracy. The larger group of those telescopes can focus on an interesting point. Those telescope satellites can also dive into the route of ICBM missiles. 

And the swarm of small satellites can also deny opponents to launch their satellites. Those miniature satellites can act as a shield over the enemy atmosphere. Closing the launching trajectories denies the satellite launches. Or they can be at any point of ICBM trajectories. They can also close certain orbital trajectories and impact other satellites. 

This virtual modulization improves the survivability of those systems. Against lasers and other ASAT (anti-satellite) weapons. 

Another thing is to make larger spaceborne telescopes that allow rising those reconnaissance satellites to higher altitudes. But virtualization, where small telescopes are connected to one entirety is the ultimate tool also in that kind of system.  Even if a laser blinds one of the telescopes from that entirety will not blind the entire system.

The thing is that the Russians sometimes targeted low-flying reconnaissance satellites by using lasers. That thing proves something must be done about that threat. 

Astronomers could have a model for why photons from GRB 221009A were at a high energy level.
