A couple of things in the "wormhole theory"
1) Could the GRB:s ((Fast)Gamma-Ray Bursts) caused by impacts in wormholes?
When the particles are traveling in the wormhole, they could impact together. And if two rocks are impacting with each other by the speed, what is the same or "higher" than the speed of the light, that thing causes extremely high-level energy burst.
That kind of impact can cause that the particles would send the GRB:s (1) to the universe. The idea of this kind of theory is that when the black hole is sending the particle in the hypothetical wormhole, it would be load with extremely high kinetic energy.
And the black holes, what are opposite sides of the wormhole are both pulling the particles in that electromagnetic tunnel. That means that the traffic in the wormhole would be two way, and the particles can also impact in that track.
The speed would be the thing, that keeps the particle in the "wormhole"(2) if they have existed. And when the two objects what are traveling in the wormhole are impacting, that thing causes the GRB:s.
2) A wormhole is a theoretical thing (3). And that thing would not the most usual phenomenon in the universe. In all versions of the wormhole theory, the black holes would create the wormhole between them in very unusual conditions.
The fact is that natural black holes are not automatically from wormholes with other black holes. The thing that forms the wormhole is that the black holes are oscillating with the same frequency. But the problem with this strange phenomenon is that we cannot say that would the wormhole form through the fourth dimension.
So there are many sizes of wormholes, and most of them are smaller than the nucleus of the atoms. But the wormholes, what we can benefit would be far larger, and those wormholes would be a very unusual phenomenon, and that requires that the two black holes would need to oscillate with the same frequency.
The other version of this theory is that the wormhole would be a bridge, what forming requires that the electromagnetic radiation between two black holes is touching each other, and that would mean that forming the wormhole between two black holes would take an extremely long time. So the forming of the wormhole would not happen right away when the star collapses to the black hole, and it requires that the oscillation frequency of two black holes need to be the same.
3) Is the wormhole some kind of "lightning" between black holes?
How to adjust the black holes with the same frequency? One version of that thing is that in some black holes would be caused the quakes, and that thing could make the adjusting two black holes in the same frequency. The thing, that can be done in that in the black hole would target the laser or series of ion- or anti-ion injections.
Or the injections that are giving to the black hole in this adjusting process could be done by pumping the nano-sized black holes in the bigger black holes. Those quantum black holes or particle- and electromagnetic stresses mission is to cause the quake in the black hole, and that thing would make the adjusting of the frequency of the thing.
But one of the most interesting versions of the wormhole-theories is that this phenomenon would be like "lightning". That means that the forming of the wormhole is a similar thing, what the forming of lightning could be.
First, the particles, that are coming from two black holes are touching together. And then the phenomenon would turn to stronger until the bridge would be ready.
That process requires very special conditions. The idea to use the artificial wormhole with space travel is to create an artificial black hole, which would adjust to oscillate in the same frequency with some natural black hole.
4) The wormholes can be the most unpredictable things in the universe if they are real
As you might see, the theory tells that on both sides of the wormhole is a black hole. The thing is that the black hole that is connected with wormhole would be acting like the black holes act like other black holes, which means that tidal forces near the entrance of that phenomenon would be extremely strong.
There is a possibility that if the size of black holes in opposite sides of the wormholes would have different masses, the material would go to another direction with greater force. And when the particle would come out from another black hole about 99% of the speed of light, that thing causes the explosion, which destroys the entire planet.
So this is the reason, why the hypothetical electromagnetic wormhole must be created somewhere far away from our solar system. Because if that thing would be created on Earth there is a possibility that there would come some small bite of rock in that laboratory with a speed of 99% of the speed of light. Or that phenomenon would suck the entire atmosphere of our planet through it.
