Geothermal energy is one of the solutions that can replace fossil fuels.

Geothermal energy is one of the solutions that can replace fossil fuels.

Deep underground is an endless energy source. The temperature in Earth's core is the same as the sun. And that makes geothermal energy a promising replacement for fossil fuels. Geothermal energy is stable. It doesn't require sunlight, and the geothermal power plant is quite small. And it can be underground.

Geothermal energy is a thing that might be one of the most effective energy sources. Geothermal energy requires only a deep hole in the ground. And then the liquid will be injected into that hole. There the geothermal energy raises that liquid's temperature.

Then that expanding liquid will rise through the turbine wheel. Water is the most well-known liquid used in geothermal systems. But things like methanol and ethanol can be more effective. The expansion of liquid determines how much pressure forms in that tube. And pressure determines how fast that thing rotates the turbine wheel.

The new drilling methods like laser drills where laser ray vaporize stone and makes a hole in the ground allows engineers to make very deep holes. That allows to use of geothermal power in areas where there is no volcanic activity.

Then engineers will put the heat exchanger in that hole. This kind of thing can connected with geothermal heating. And that makes it possible to make a thermal power plant that produces electricity.

If we want to replace batteries in electric cars by using things like fuel cells that use hydrogen as fuel, we must create a clean way to make hydrogen. Geothermal energy is one of the clean options for electric production. Geothermal energy is a more effective energy solution than solar panels in arctic areas. The geothermal power plant can built underground. And it is independent of solar power. So it works day and night.
